Our mission to provide eco-conscious solutions to today's sustainability issues has guided us in innovating the way the world uses nonwoven media.
To affirm our commitment to support health, wellness and quality of life while being eco-conscious and reducing environmental impacts, we took action with the innovation of our ECOFUSE™ nonwoven textile using plant based materials that can be composted and allows for carbon reduction.
We believe our technology is our industry differentiator. Our ECOFUSE™ products strive for sustainability, emitting a lower carbon footprint with a superior life cycle while maintaining high performance.
Our product aligns with the Paris Agreement, COP26 initiatives, WHO, the Canadian Governments 2030 Emissions Reduction Plan, US Federal executive orders , Buy Clean, Clean Energy Economy, Sustainable procurement and EPA.
Learn more about ECOFUSE™ and the Eco-Series of Products:
Masks and protective waste have been found in seabeds and are washing up on beaches and shorelines, they are also being discarded on streets and in forests. Conventional materials like plastics make its way into the environment in numerous ways and essentially stays on this earth forever. Plastics increase greenhouse gas pollution and are critically disturbing the natural detritus in the aquatic and terrestrial ecosystem.
ECOFUSE™ materials that are produced from renewable crop resources allowing them to be biodegradable and compostable. Made from new carbon, benefits to the environment is realized in the production of the material. Our products will help reduce adverse effects on the environment and will not harm the detritus on ocean floors and will reduce CO2 equivalents by approximately 55% compared to plastics in conventional products.
Composting our products is an additional benefit that can be utilized and reduces landfill usage and returns the carbon into the soil to continue the carbon cycle.
Benefits happen the moment one of our ECOFUSE™ products is purchased as it replaces a synthetic product from going out in the world and impacting the environment.
Carbon is not currently part of the current carbon cycle. It’s trapped underground in fossil fuels or arctic soils. Using traditional polypropylene introduces old carbon into the current carbon cycle leading to a build up of CO2 equivalents in the environment and takes millions of years to cycle petroleum based carbon.
Our ECOFUSE™ products are made from new carbon, carbon that is part of the current carbon cycle and is already in the atmosphere and environment. Our product pulls CO2 from the atmosphere through photosynthesis and takes significantly less time to cycle biopolymer carbon.
